Do you think there will be a female president in the near future? Why or why not? Based on Rosemary and J.J.'s conversation on page 24, how do you think they would feel about our current president?
We both think that there will be a woman president in the near future because Hillary Clinton almost made it.
Julia thinks Rosemary would be excited and that J.J. would be surprised because he never would have believed that a black person like Barrack Obama could have become the President in our country.
I agree with both of you. In addition to the surprise, I think they would both be extremely proud and not doubt their ability to do whatever they want to do in life.
Yes, I think there will be a woman president, but I think that Rosemary and J.J. think that it would never be possible for a woman or an African - American to be president.
J.J. and Rosemary would feel scared that Barack Obmama is president because back then African - Americans didn't get as good of an education so they might think that America would not be very safe. They would also feel proud because they never thought that someone of their own race could be president.
Tanishka and I think there will be a female president in the future because if a male can be a president so can a female.
Tanishka thinks Rosemary would feel happy for a colored person to be president because Rosemary is colored too. J.J would be surprised that a colored person could become president.

I think it kind of proves J.J wrong because Barack Obama managed to become president,and he's African-American.
